1. Early Spring (February / March)

  • Pre-emergent weed control of summer weeds.  Parts of this service do contain  synthetic or non-organic products.  The pre-emergent is a better grade than most what most chemicals companies use, which makes the lawn look better and is absorbed more readily than cheaper products.  This service is still safe.  Since most of us want a nice looking lawn as soon as possible, this service will certainty help with progress  The most cost effective and short term approach to get and keep a lawn in shape is to defeat weeds before they start to grow.

2.  Spring (March / April)

  • Core Aeration – Aerating your lawn will allow water, oxygen, fertilizers, and other nutrients to penetrate the soil and better reach the roots of your grass.  A properly aerated soil is essential for any lawn care program.  Aerating is usually done by pushing hollow cylinders into the ground and forcing out plugs of soil to the lawn surface.   We only use the core aeration method not the spike method which is not usually as effective.  Aerating can also help in breaking up the buildup of Thatch in your lawn

3. Late Spring (April / May)

  • Another pre-emergent treatment with organic fertilization to enhance root growth and early green-up. The product we use for this visit is 100% organic nitrogen based fertilizer that will not burn your lawn.  It will further enhance the plants root zones and soil.  The natural based fertilizer is a long term soil builder, derived from biologically active compost through a proprietary controlled aerobic process.  This treatment also adds iron for rapid turf green up without excessive top growth.

4.  Summer (June / July)

  • Organic Fertilization to maintain a healthy green turf. This is a natural based fertilizer and long term soil builder blended with high ratios of potash and iron for summer stress or soils low in potassium.  It provides a combination of plant nutrients and organic substances derived from humus and has high levels of beneficial and natural microorganisms.

5.  Late Summer (August/Sept)
